A real trip down memory lane with all the amazing departmental shops we used to have.The 60s book I received free (thank you for signing both books Neil) showed our fabulous night life and I was even in one of the Buccaneer photos.

If I had a time machine and I could make one trip back to any music venue then, without doubt, it would be Barbs.

Well I haven't got that time machine yet, but this superb t shirt, along with the excellent Dirty Stop Out's Guide To 1970s Birmingham, is the next best thing.

Barbarella's. The Birmingham club I used to frequent back in 1977/78...had so many great times-thus now memories, thought I'd treat myself to the simple but effective design for Barbs, that dirty stops outs offered/shirt arrived on time, reasonable price in this day and age, it fitted well and looked good, however there was one issue with it, but as soon as i notified DSO, they not only responded immediately but refunded me the whole cost, so in terms of customer service-top notch ! Excellent Company to deal with, and good products with great memories-what's not to like?

Bought a barrel organ tshirt for my mrs, she absolutely loved it!!!

Tshirt is great quality. No problems at all.

What struck me particularly was that inspite of 3 day weeks, bombings, strikes and blackouts, we were still packing out the pubs and clubs regardless.
It was also great to be able to show my daughter an average gig list for Barbarellas which showed that I was not exaggerating how many brilliant bands you got to see in one month alone.
Obviously, there was lots of other great music going on all over the city - something for everyone whatever your taste.
As the Tams used to sing - Be Young, Be Foolish but Be Happy. We Were!
