Ten of the city’s top nightspots of yesteryear are being re-born – as the must-haves of summer fashion!
Hundreds of people took part in a recent poll to decide the ‘80s venues they’d most like celebrating with their own T-shirt and legendary Bank Street nightclubs Romeo & Juliet’s and Cairo Jax came out on top.
They were closely followed by the likes of Josephine’s, Berlins, Roxy, Hanrahans and Take Two music venue that used to be situated on Staniforth Road.
Neil Anderson of Dirty Stop Outs, said: “Interest in these old venues has been sky high in lockdown as people reminisce so we decided to run a poll to see which ‘80s venues people would like to see celebrated with their own T-shirt.”
T-shirts on sale in the ‘80s collection include: Cairo Jax, Josephine’s, Berlins, Roxy, Hanrahans, Romeo & Juliets, Wapentake, Rebels, Chubbys and the Limit.
