Retro clubs inspire chance to #LookGoodInLockdown - Dirty Stop Outs

Retro clubs inspire chance to #LookGoodInLockdown

Some of Sheffield’s most iconic nightclubs of recent decades are about to be reborn as the new must-haves of lockdown fashion.

With the high street mothballed and many fashion website outlets closed because of broken supply chains – our new line of apparel has been designed and made much closer to home.

Dirty Stop Outs has teamed up with #KelhamPrint to launch a new range of designer items that celebrate the likes of #KingMojo, #ClubFiesta, the #TheRoxy and #TheLimit.

Neil Anderson of Dirty Stop Outs said: “I was chatting to a friend last week who was wondering what to do about Father’s Day. She was worried that she wouldn’t get to see her dad – a former King Mojo-goer - and wouldn’t be able to find a suitable present. I suddenly realised we might have the answer as all our merchandise is designed and made in Sheffield and we can deliver straight to the door.

“We originally planned a big launch party but we’re now launching the clothing live online from 9 am this Friday, May 22nd.

“You might not be able to be a Dirty Stop Out but at least you can look good as a Dirty Stop in!”

The clothing has been inspired by our Dirty Stop Outs books that have enjoyed best-selling success.

They’ve been designed by #NicolaOgle of Kelham Print. She said: “I believe clothes should be fun, bold and authentic and I use pop culture for inspiration. The partnership with Dirty Stop Outs was perfect – these retro clubs had some fantastic ideas!

"Working with Neil on the Dirty Stop Outs collection has been very fascinating; coming from Sheffield, I always used to hear tales from my parents about the nightclub scene of their youth, so delving further into the books and retro iconic imagery of the popular haunts of Sheffield was a great starting point to develop a collection that will hopefully bring back some wonderful memories for Sheffield club-goers past."

The clothing is set to be available from this Friday, May 22nd, from: www.dirtystopouts.com
