Sheffield's famed 'King Mojo' ran for three glorious years from 1964 to 1967. The venue - opened by Peter and Geoff Stringfellow - was recently voted most influential club in Sheffield of the era and earned itself the right to adorn the cover of the brand new, 10th-anniversary edition of the 'Dirty Stop Out's Guide to 1960s Sheffield'.
We're re-creating the vibe of the famed King Mojo for the book's launch party on Friday, June 10th, 2022.
Former club-goer and popular soul/Motown DJ Greg Heap is lined up to spin the original sounds of the club.
The event is held at the new Library venue which is situated opposite the Olympic Legacy Park S9 3TY. There is ample on-street parking all around.
Tickets are just £10 each.
