The mere thought of a Meadowhall in seventies' Sheffield would have been laughed off the high street.

It wouldn't have stood a chance!

Sheffield city centre's retail heritage is remembered in this book that celebrates the bygone era when Steel City was renowned as the North's shopping capital and the Hole In The Road was the city centre's crowning glory.

The book is compiled by celebrated local author Neil Anderson and is a must for anyone that remembers the likes of Cockaynes, Pauldens, Sexy Rexy, Redgates, Walsh's, Castle Market and loads of other retail giants of the era.

The Shopaholics Guide to 1970s Sheffield includes scores of photos, memories and more.

The perfect present for anyone that remembers the era.

A real trip down memory lane with all the amazing departmental shops we used to have. The 60s book I received free (thank you for signing both books Neil) showed our fabulous night life and I was even in one of the Buccaneer photos.

Everything is hand-printed to order with love and rock'n'roll hellfire ;-)

We were BORN to rock'n'roll ;-)

Dirty Stop Outs’ apparel is worn by rock stars (from Motorhead to the Stray Cats) and born again dancefloor fashionistas. They are
designed to turn heads, fit like the best pair of ripped Levis you ever owned and last even longer than a Steve Vai guitar solo (like forever!)

How apparel entered the Dirty Stop Outs mix... Words from the founder
