Guaranteed to bring the memories flooding back!

This is your ticket back to the '70s, the decade of change that saw the demolition of the Cavern and the birth of Eric’s.

You'll be transported back to the era of chicken-in-a-basket meals via venues like The Babalou and Golden Guinea.

The era of industrial unrest and the hot summer of 1976 is brought vividly back to life as the newly built St John’s packed them in at the Top Rank Suite, Romeo & Juliets and Studio 54.

If you were born in the 1950s or early 1960s, you'll be captivated – this is your era! If you have an interest in popular culture or social history, you won't be able to put it down!

This book makes the perfect gift for anyone who remembers the 1970s in Liverpool.

Enjoyed this book a lot. It helped bring happy memories back to life. Went to Tiffany's of a lunchtime - think I must have missed the strippers! Looking forward to next book.

It's all about nostalgia

Liked everything brought back memories of the sixties and seventies which to me were the best times ever. Sad that all those places have gone but the memories don't even fade. Great times and places!

What a brilliant trip down Memory Lane

What memories this book evoked!!!
I was born in Liverpool in the early 50’s so the 70’s was a magical time for me!
The best football team, the worldwide fame of the Merseybeat and the clubs that reflected it all!

What a brilliant trip down Memory Lane, with pics of the Babalou, the Cavern, the Pyramid, Ugly’s, the Coconut Grove, and many more…
If you danced the night away to music of the 60’s and 70’s in the best venues in Liverpool then you need to get this wonderful reminder of what life was like, and how proud we all were of Liverpool in those days!
